Looking along the River Thames on an inky-black night towards Battersea Power Station, which glows bright with intense cool tones crowned by a swarm of red warning lights. The comparatively weak light of buildings shouldering the river provide only dim suggestions of their shapes.

It carries bold white lettering in Futura and a sharply angled arrow, which indicate a Martini Bar upstairs. Above, the polished concrete ceiling is pocked with checkerboard recesses, some empty, some containing neutral downlighters - themselves backlit in saturated oranges and purples.
